Nutrient-rich GEM® avocados are naturally low in sugars and salt, provide fibre and contain many vitamins and minerals.
They’re packed with potassium, which helps to maintain normal blood pressure, and provide vitamin E, which protects cells.
They also contain vitamin B5 and vitamin B6, and are loaded with folate. All of these nutrients can help make us feel less tired. Vitamin B6 and folate are also important for our immune system to function normally.
GEM® avocados are loaded with monounsaturated fats. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats such as monounsaturates helps to maintain normal and lower blood cholesterol levels. This is good news as high cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease.
